| Name | PvP Daily Quests - Getting Easy Honor and Easy Money Everyday |
| Category | General |
Included with the patch 2.3 are new daily quests. PvE players already have a ton of daily quests they can do for money. Now what about those PvP players? Don't worry, because some of the new daily quests introduced are PvP related!
With the 2.3 patch, a new NPC on each faction, the Horde Warbringer and the Alliance Brigadier General, was introduced. This NPC gives the new PvP daily quest for a battleground randomly everyday. Also, the repeatable PvP quest in Hellfire Peninsula, the Hellfire Fortifications, was changed into a daily PvP quest. For the 2.4 patch, several new PvP quests have been added, particularly using the other world PvP objectives in Outlands, promoting more world PvP.
The PvP Daily Quests
Battlegrounds
Questgiver: Horde Warbringer (Horde) / Alliance Brigadier General (Alliance)
Location: Near the Battleground NPCs in each major city, including Shattrath City
Quest/s Given: Call to Arms: Arathi Basin, Call to Arms: Alterac Valley, Call to Arms: Eye of the Storm, Call to Arms: Warsong Gulch
PvP Objectives: Enter the battleground and earn a victory.
Rewards: 419 Honor, 11g 99s
For these battleground quests, all you need to do is go into the battleground and earn a victory from it. Sounds pretty easy. Well, yes, unless your faction has been experiencing losing streaks on that particular battleground for some time. This daily quest is pretty much an easy way to gain some 'free' honor and some cash. If you get the chance to enter the battleground and ended up in one with a good team, this is definitely a great way to gain easy 419 honor with some cash. Otherwise, if the battleground seems to be losing, this quest may just be an incentive for doing some battleground PvP.
From experience, Arathi Basin and Eye of the Storms tend to have the fastest games, and are the best battlegrounds to be chosen for easy rewards from the daily PvP quest. Warsong Gulch and Alterac Valley would be just as good as the other two but sometimes these battlegrounds tend to drag on longer, and maybe even lose sometimes, so it’s not really efficient to do the daily PvP for these battlegrounds if you only want easy and fast rewards, unless they are on its weekend.
World PvP
Hellfire Peninsula
Questgiver: Battlecryer Blackeye (Horde) / Warrant Officer Tracy Proudwell (Alliance)
Location: Thrallmar (Horde) / Honor Hold (Alliance)
Quest/s Given: Hellfire Fortifications
PvP Objectives: Capture all 3 PvP forts in Hellfire Peninsula.
Rewards: 3 Marks of Thrallmar / Honor Hold, 1g 13s 50c
This daily pvp quest requires you to capture all 3 PvP points of interest in Hellfire Peninsula. These 3 are the Overlook, the Broken Hill and the Stadium. They are pretty much located at the west of Hellfire Citadel. To capture these forts, you will need to go the fort you want to capture and stay within it until the PvP capture slider (shows below your minimap at the upper right of your screen) moves all the way to your faction's color. It takes quite a while before you can bring the slider to your side, and if there are more people of the opposite faction staying within that fort than your own faction's, they will be the one dragging the slider.
Also, being stealthed even though you are within the vicinity will not contribute for the slider. This basically prevents stealthers to easily capture PvP objectives without being seen by anyone. Of course, these forts need to be at least controlled by the opposite faction or neutral for you to get credit for the capture. If the fort is already controlled by your faction, then you will need to wait until someone from the opposite faction decides to capture the fort. Doing this quest will be a waste of time especially if there are not much PvP happening in the zone. Also, the 1g money reward is kind of small, making it a worthless daily quest that could only just take up your precious daily quest slot. Unless you need more Marks, you're better off not taking this daily quest.
Terokkar Forest
Questgiver: Exorcist Vaisha (Horde) / Exorcist Sullivan (Alliance)
Location: Stonebreaker Hold (Horde) / Allerian Stronghold (Alliance)
Quest/s Given: Spirits of Auchindoun
PvP Objectives: Capture a Spirit Tower in the Bone Wastes in Terokkar Forest.
Rewards: 209 Honor, 11g 99s
This daily pvp quest is fairly similar to the Hellfire Peninsula one. The only difference is that you only need to capture one of the 5 possible Spirit Towers in the Bone Wastes. Also, this quest can only be done every 6 hours, because those are the only times when the Spirit Towers are up for capturing. Capturing a tower is very similar to how you capture a fort in Hellfire Peninsula, through a slider. The difference here is that the faction regions are smaller, probably about 10% of the bar on each side, and the neutral zone is larger.
When the Spirit Towers come available for capturing, there will be 5 neutral towers all around the Bone Wastes. Choose a tower, and capture it. You only need one tower captured to complete the daily quest. The capture phase of the towers will last until one faction captures all of the towers for themselves. Once they are all captured, a Blessing of Auchindoun zone-wide buff will appear for the winning faction, and a 6-hour timer will start. Until the timer expires, you cannot capture a spirit tower, so you will probably have to wait until the timer runs out and the Spirit Towers appear to be available for capturing again. This daily quest can be a fast source of honor while the Spirit Towers are up, so do this quest when you happen to come around the area when they are up!
Nagrand
Questgiver: Karrtog (Horde) / Lakoor (Alliance)
Location: Garadar (Horde) / Telaar (Alliance)
Quest/s Given: Enemies, Old and New (Horde) / In Defense of Halaa (Alliance)
PvP Objectives: Defeat 10 players of the enemy faction while in the vicinity of Halaa.
Rewards: 209 Honor, 11g 99s, 500 Mag'har / Kurenai Reputation
For a change, this quest is just purely killing players from the opposite faction. You will need to be within the immediate vicinity of Halaa to gain credit for the kills. In addition to the quest rewards, you will gain Halaa Battle Tokens for killing enemy players of the opposite faction as well. This can be a good way to gain Halaa Battle Tokens and gaining easy 209 honor as well. The only problem for this is if there are no players of the opposite faction is present in Halaa. If you happen to be in the zone when there is heavy PvP activity in Halaa, then this is the time for you to go and do this quest while there are enemies around.
These are new PvP daily quests introduced by Blizzard since patch 2.3. Easy honor, easy money!
